Well, I had a LOOOOOONG talk with my mum and she has this amazing power of making me feel better, and I feel almost back to normal now
 Decided I won't break up with David. Mum helped me put it into perspective and I realised that the reason I was feeling like that was because of all the pressure from people at school about it (seriously, don't they have lives?). So all is good for now!  |

I've got some really bad news
My boyfriend's older brother got killed yesterday, after being hit by a car. It was such a shock when David text me to tell me what had happened, and I burst into tears right in front of my step-mom. Not the best person considering I hate her guts. I've not seen David yet, but he barely spoke to me on the phone and I'm worried about him... I feel so bad for him and his family. I can't evem imagine what his mum is going through, losing her son so suddenly like that. He was only twenty. So feeling down right now.

Jesse, I'm so sorry.
That sort of thing will traumatise anyone - your poor b/f's family. 20 is a very young age to die . All you can do is be there for David. Its hard to say how he'll react. He might push you away - scared of the pain that emotional ties can bring. Or he might cling to you , as a source of constancy in the sadness of his life at the moment. I'm so , so sorry Jesse. Lots of love to you and his family. |

Thanks Ro. Me and two other friends, Natasha and Arron, are going down the shopping centre tomorrow to get a sympathy card for them, and flowers for his mum,
and we're going to go see how he is. I'm not sure how he'll react, like you said, but I hope he'll be okay with seeing us.

Oh Jess, that's dreadful. Ro's given good advice there, grief is a strange and terrible thing and may well make him act oddly. It's entirely
possible he couldn't talk to you about it much because he's in shock, bear with him, and take care of yourself as well as him. I'm sure I speak for
